Morning Buzz: Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Pennywise
:: Chubby dudes in bondage pants have been freaking out since last night, because Nine Inch Nails played The Downward Spiral from start to finish at Webster Hall.
:: People were fawning over that new Radiohead single while I was yawning over it. So now that we have footage of the band playing it live, there will undoubtedly be plenty of pants-cleaning over the next few days.
:: Pennywise frontman Jim Lindberg is leaving the band after 19 years. What a quitter. Couldn’t even make it to 20. Where’s that punk rock work ethic, Lindy?
:: Aquarium Drunkard recently had a nice little chat with Brendan Benson.
:: AW Music took a look at (500) Days of Summer, that uber-indie, but-not-really-so-indie, indie flick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.

The Pennywise guy probably noticed that every single other punk singer was now touring solo with an acoustic guitar and just couldn’t resist doing the exact same thing.

Holy hell. That NIN setlist is amazing. I can’t wait for the show on Wednesday at Terminal 5…

the new radiohead’s pretty damned good, and translated live well. they just soundchecked your much more beloved harry patch, so it’ll be interesting if they pull that out live, seanny boy.
