Morning Buzz: Sonic Youth, Aerosmith, ATP NY
:: Westboro Baptist Church is finally doing something that deserves a pat on the back — picketing an All Time Low concert.
:: Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon still looks pretty stacked, even though she’s probably a card-carrying member of the AARP. She has to get those Denny’s coupons somewhere, right?
:: Had a chance to attend M Is for Montreal last year, but passport bologna got in the way. But it looks like this year would’ve been the one to hit up.
:: Welp, a couple of weeks back Steven Tyler was all, “I’m Steven Tyler, I’ll do whatever the hell I want and the rest of Aerosmith better be happy about it.” And the rest of Aerosmith said, “Screw that. Where’s Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens’ phone number?” And now Tyler is saying, “Um, that’s not what I meant guys, promisies.” Or something like that.
:: ATP NY 2010 is already looking like the place to be. Then again, isn’t it the place to be every year?
:: Thanks to Dexter and Sunday Night Football, I had a couple of good excuses for not watching the AMAs. Then again, I wouldn’t have watched them if I had no excuse. Did any of y’all tune in?
