New Releases: 30 Seconds to Mars, The Beatles, Camera Obscura
Can you really call something a “box set” if it’s on a USB drive? Cause that’s what the Beatles seem to be doing. Not that I’m complaining. I wouldn’t mind owning it, in all honesty.
Otherwise, a small week with a few notables for those who pay attention to top 40 radio: 30 Seconds to Mars, Snoop Dogg, Puddle of Mudd (snicker), Timbaland, Chris Brown and Clipse.
In other words, not much here for any of you cool folks. Except maybe those Camera Obscura releases.

Clipse is one of the best rap groups currently. The new album sounds great.
Also, I’m stoked about those new Sun Ra albums on vinyl. I’ve been getting Ornette Coleman and Sun Ra reissues…they sound fantastic.

Mammoth Grinder’s Extinction of Humanity is getting released on CD format, on Relapse.
The Bane release is interesting. They photographers from around the world take a photo of a city skyline at the same time and put the photo on different CDs.
