Satriani, Former Van Halen, Current Red Hot Chili Peppers Dudes Form ‘Super’ Group

Is it a supergroup if half the band is comprised of castaways and rejects from another band? I would assume so technically. But practically speaking, there isn’t much super about a group with former Van Haleners Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony. Then, of course, there’s the least noteworthy member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, drummer Chad Smith. Not even Joe Satriani can make this supergroup a “super” group.

Plus the origin story of Chickenfoot involves Hagar’s Cabo Wabo idiocy. So that doesn’t help. Apparently, this actually happened like a year ago. Luckily, they flew under the radar. Until now.

This makes Tinted Windows look legit.

This is very old news…but wow, so much hate: jamming is idiocy; Tinted Windows are somehow fake…must be fun up on that ivory tower. Listen to the music first, at the very least. And then they wonder why there’s so much contempt for music blogs…
