Shocker: Obama Makes Ted Nugent Want to Barf
What’s the most stroke-inducing, unbelievable revelation of 2009? Ted Nugent isn’t a fan of President Barack Obama! Here’s what the Nuge had to say when asked about the big O:
I think that Barack Hussein Obama should be put in jail. It is clear that Barack Hussein Obama is a communist. Mao Tse Tung lives and his name is Barack Hussein Obama. This country should be ashamed. I wanna throw up.
I see this self-imposed suicidal curse of political correctness when I hear an entire segment of this country chanting for Barack Hussein Obama that won’t do anything for our country. But they will scream and whine what the country must do for them. It breaks my heart.
Hey Ted, does your puke taste better when you killed it yourself? Just curious.
Also, can we start the “If Ted Nugent were President…” deal again?

Why does Ted Nugent care who the president is? doesnt he live on his own 500 acre game preserve were he can kill as many animals as his heart desires? He could and should just stay there and make moonshine and kill varmits to his hearts content without ever having to know whats going on in the world.
PS: If Ted Nugent was President bowhunting would become the national pastime and realtree camoflage tuxedoes would be all the rage at State Dinners -

Funny thing. When Natalie Maines said she was ashamed that Bush was from Texas, the right wing went up in flames, Dixie Chicks’ records were burned, they were labeled as traitors and worse, and they even received death threats.
I wonder how those same people are reacting to Nugent’s words…

#1. “KooneyBooney”: People hunt food… to eat. God help this country if Wal-Mart ever goes out of business. It has nothing to do with the size of your sex organ. It’s called human survival. Whether Ted does it himself of you order chicken nuggets at Wendy’s… something’s got to die. Perhaps it should be you?
#2. “The Duke”: Well, you’re just an idiot.
#3. “Dr. Jones”: Is he “not a good person” because he (and most other people who think for themselves) can see this narcissistic, cult of personality for what he is?
#4 “Nameless Cynic”: How appropriate a name fo you. Ted’s thoughts about the president are shared by many, and not just the right wing. Independents and the far left are also seeing Obama for what he is. There is a reason that at the end of 2009, conservatives were titled the largest political ideological group in the US.
#5 “KooneyBooney” seems to have come around for a second installment of “look how dumb I am”. There will be wars as long as there are different cultures and beliefs. Don’t wait for that to ever change. What has Obama’s pacifist, denial approach done for peace? Well, we’ve had two attacks within the country just since he’s taken office, compared to 1 in the previous 8 years. This is Earth. Be strong, or die. Sorry, that’s life.
You people really should learn more about what’s going on around you, besides merely what the media is told to feed you. Sheep.

To be perfectly honest, I agree with this Ted Nugent person. Obama is indeed a communist (or a socialist, or whatever you wish to call it). Americans who voted him in should be truly ashamed, I’m sorry to say.
What I do not agree with, however, is Ted’s way of portraying his opinion. It’s very rough-shodden and obviously far too HONEST on the surface for most idiots to handle. You need to feed the sheep the truth in small doses in order for them to comprehend what you’re saying. Otherwise, you’ll get this: a mess of whining, bickering, and deliberately personal attacks that are backed by nothing more than silly opinion and a sick, unadulterated infatuation with Barack Obama.

Well, Duke, my “shack” in New Orleans is likely far larger than yours. I don’t own a gun, but have no problem with anyone who does. When I’m not educating myself about the world around me, I play music in a touring band. That’s what I “do for fun”.
Dr. Jones… Well, you know Glenn Beck’s name and how to spell posterior; so you’re not completely lost, but definitely frustrated. What I know doesn’t come from one person, but from many sources, including media outlets beyond our borders where they’ve nothing to gain by slurring the facts. There is a head inside an ass, but I believe your view is too close to discern.
Obama’s presidency has followed the very definition of a “cult of personality”; not to be confused with Ted’s “public personality”.
Oh Kooney… What am I to do with you? Each subsequent post by you leads me further into the dark woods of ignorance. For your future, ill-inspired posts, I don’t hunt, but I’m not opposed to it. Humans have done it for thousands of years. (It’s a bit more involved than rolling your window down at the drive-thru and I seriously doubt you could handle it if your life depended on it.)
Beyond running across the amusing oasis of liberal braintrust, I am quite active in “saving the country”.
And yes, I always seem like a smartass when confronted by dumbasses.

I don’t care if anyone eats meat (my fiance is still a burger-loving carnivore) but there is just something about this sentence, and I can’t put my finger on it, that seems ill-informed and out of touch.

i agree with serge that the statement sounds wrong. however, i think it’s mostly because it’s uninformed on a lot of levels — not that it’s completely without merit. and when ted nugent says stuff about this subject, it’s almost always just to inflame people. there’s never nuance or care in it. and thus, people who listen to him and agree don’t care about being thoughtful when it comes to this subject.
as a meat eater and someone who grew up around (but never actually did) a lot of hunting, i can see the point. there are many positives about hunting animals for food (health, sociological and ecological reasons).
animals that have been naturally raised on organic food are simply better for you than genetically-engineered supercows and megachickens. and most of the food you hunt for (like deer, rabbit or fowl) is leaner than beef or pork, which are usually the meats of choice at the supermarket. and that’s a plus.
additionally, hunting for your food can (and should, but doesn’t always, since some people are assfaces) make you more reverent when it comes to the environment. and the same goes for growing your vegetables and fruit. when you get all of your food from the store, it’s easy to forget that we as people are connected to nature and our surroundings in an intrinsic way.
and from a practical standpoint, hunting animals is needed sometimes to control animal populations. as someone who has hit a deer with my car in a situation where i could’ve easily died (and whose wife, in-laws and friends have hit deer, putting them in danger), i see the need to have a deer hunting season. granted, that raises other questions about suburban sprawl (even though the examples i mentioned were in a rural area with lots of wilderness and farmland) and bad stewardship of undeveloped land, but that’s not the point here.

Dr. Jones, should I not waste my time because you have nothing at all to contribute yourself and don’t want to look like a fool, or is it that you couldn’t comprehend? Either way, your lack of substance aside from name-calling is laughable. The subject of this thread is Ted Nugent and his opinion of the president. Is this only an “anti-Ted thread”. If not, anything I have to add is as valid as the drivel you’re posting.
To spout off as if the American people who do not agree with Obama are mere “parrots” to conservative talk radio is naive, at best. The fact that you decline to match facts with me is simply because you can’t. So, I’m done with you too.
Sergio, what about that sentence is hard to comprehend? If you eat meat, no matter where it comes from, it has to die first. Where does the ill-informed part come in? Has eating meat become “out of touch”?

Conservatives act like they are blameless for all that’s happening, forgetting that it was Bush who brought this country down to its knees. But in the end, Republicans or Democrats are all the same: BAD FOR THE COUNTRY!
The only difference between the two is that the Reps are either cowboys with cowshit on their boots or Sarah Palin types. Not only arrogant, but rude and crude and they all like to hide behind their guns to shoot defenseless animals.
This country needs a third party!

yeah, not so much. as someone who is completely divested in the political process, i can say pretty confidently that both are equally rude and arrogant. you might agree with one side or the other more, but they’re both equal in their civility when it comes to public discourse.
the issue isn’t that republicans are assholes, so they want to be divisive. the issue is that two different parties have drastically different views of what defines america — and both sides think that anyone who disagrees with them has to be stupid.
