What Is Your Favorite Baseball Song?

The Major League Baseball season got into full swing yesterday, as my semi-hometown team (the Reds) lost a close game. It’s almost like summertime is here. Except the entire United States east of the Mississippi was cold and wet. Not good baseball weather.
So anyway, with sunnier skies around the bend and baseball heating up, it got me thinking about my favorite baseball-related jams. And that got me wondering where you guys stand on the issue. Is it the nostalgic-but-cheesy Centerfield? Or maybe something a little hipper, like a song from The Baseball Project.
There are too many for me to pick just one. However, I’ve got a good track here about an interesting piece of baseball lore: Dock Ellis’ no-hitter, which he reportedly pitched while high on LSD. And that’s why baseball is awesome.

Oh, man, I used to love that Geoff Moore song. I’m going to go with 1970 Burt Blyleven Rookie Card by Small Towns Burn A Little Slower even though it really isn’t about baseball.
