So the headliners were announced for Forecastle 2009. And as listed in the headline up there, it’s going to be Widespread Panic (for two nights), Black Crowes, Black Keys and the Avett Brothers.

That’s pretty impressive when compared to previous years. But what’s not as impressive is the $100 ticket price, which is about three times more than last year if memory serves me correct. Granted, if the rest of the bill fills out with bands worth seeing, then it’s more than fair. But the sticker shock is still there when you’re used to shelling out a third of that.
