There’s been a lot of Epitonic talk over the last few days. If you find that irritating… well, too bad. Because the official relaunch of the site was announced earlier today. Here’s what co-founder Justin Sinkovich (who we’ll be having an in-depth discussion with tomorrow) had to say about it:

Starting Epitonic was amazing and chaotic. Now, we’re elated (and honestly a little shocked) to own Epitonic once again. Our goal is pretty straightforward: To recapture the spirit of the original site by curating and filtering underground music, using new technology and features that were unfathomable when the site was originally built.

There’s even a Kickstarter to help fund the relaunch where you can get yourself on board as an editor for the first year. Sure it’ll cost you $1,000, but who wouldn’t want to say, “Hey, I’m an editor of Epitonic.”
