Morning Buzz: Jason Lytle, David Bowie, Lil Wayne

:: Jason Lytle is doing a series of videos during his latest stay in the studio.

:: BBC is talking about shutting down the 6 Music station, and that has David Bowie is shaking his impeccably-manicured, sequined fist at the broadcasters.

:: Former Warrant frontman Jani Lane has a warrant out for his arrest after missing a court date. For all you amateur bounty hunters, be sure to check in the trailer park strip clubs and monster truck rallies.

:: Speaking of jail time, Lil Wayne won’t be getting any in the immediate future thanks to that mysterious courthouse fire.

:: If you’re involved in the DIY scene, you probably already visit If You Make It regularly. Well, you should give them some money so they can keep the Pink Couch Sessions coming. And give us some afterward, so we can keep annoying you. Then again, we’ll do that anyway.

:: First there was that Insane Clown Posse western. And now juggalos are all over Law and Order.

I think L&O handled it well. They didn’t try to portray all juggalos, as ridiculous as they are, as killers. Just one. Much better than the “death metal” episode of Bones. Death metal bands wearing corpse paint? And every day? While they live and practice in an abandoned slaughterhouse, which is a preferred morbid location for all death metallers? And killing a bandmate just because he was going to sell out and do mainstream music with his girlfriend? The worst he could expect would be 300 pages worth of comments from angry teenagers on some blog post about it, and WHEN DOES THAT EVER HAPPEN?
