Morning Buzz: Record Store Day, Decapitated, Pavement

:: So what did you haul in for Record Store Day? As expected, I didn’t get to buy a lot of stuff I wanted. But I did get that Blood Mountain reissue (but only the single-LP edition, sadly).

:: The Summer Slaughter Tour lineup for 2010 has been announced. It includes Decapitated, The Faceless and The Red Chord, among others.

:: Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band recently discussed their run on Warped Tour and their upcoming album.

:: From most accounts, Pavement was great at Coachella. But apparently not many people could tell, since they were all watching Phoenix instead.

:: CYSTSFTS recently got on board with Nakatomi Plaza, even though the band has called it quits. If you’re not on board yet, you should be, too.

I picked up the Bruce Springsteen 10″, and the A-side, “Wrecking Ball”, totally rules. I also got the Peter Gabriel/Stephin Merritt split, which isn’t bad. My store had a few other releases, but nothing I was too terribly interested in for the price they were wanting for it.
