New Releases: Lil Wayne, Blind Man’s Colour, Rob Zombie
Been itching for that Lil Wayne “rock” album that probably isn’t very rocky at all? Well, it appears it’s finally arrived. But I’m not holding my breath til I see it on the shelves.
Otherwise it’s a pretty dead week. Unless you like The Album Leaf, Blind Man’s Colour, Mount Eerie, Passion Pit, Priestess, Rob Zombie or Sole. In which case it’s not really a dead week at all.

this is a bit late but The Wonder Years released The Upsides in mid January. Also, yesterday Chad from NFG tweeted about their NFG/Dashboard split 7 inch being for sale and yesterday it was, but now it seems to be gone? It was up at newfoundglorystuff.com and it has each band covering 2 songs from the other band.
I expect the Lil Wayne rock album to be terrible but I’m dying to hear it so I can confirm that. Glad that Madlib made the list.

I’m trying to decide if I like this Shining band…they got the Mike Patton spirit in ‘em.

Vedera is worth mentioning. Check them out if you need a new band to listen to.

this BG folk loves Lil Wayne, when he’s on, he’s not always on and I suspect this rock album won’t be Lil Wayne at his best.
