Photos: Lebowski Fest 9
Lebowski Fest 9 is in the books — or at least the card has been given to the league offices for final approval pending Smokey’s appeal, of course. This year was full of ringer tossing, stranger finding and Liam loving. Then again, when is it not?
The best part about Lebowski Fest and similar celebrations, though, is that at some point it’s no longer about the bowling, the white Russians or even The Big Lebowski itself. It’s just a bunch of people — devoid of pretense and pomp — accepting things as they are and reveling in camaraderie.
Speaking of which, it was nice to finally meet regular Buzzgrinderer, blogger, tweeter and achiever ProfTim.
