Robert Pollard Releasing New Solo Album, Boston Spaceships EP
I can’t believe it’s already March, and I’ve only gotten one album from Robert Pollard this year. Dude must be getting lazy, right?
But just when you think his songwriting resolve might be softening, Pollard decides to offer up two new records just a couple of months apart. Not only did Bob announce a new solo record, Moses on a Snail, that seems like an eternity away at June 22 — there will also be a new Boston Spaceships EP, Camera Found the Ray Gun, which we’ll be getting in a couple of weeks.
That’ll put his total records in 2010 at three by midyear. I’m assuming that means he’s only got six more in the can at the moment. Slacker.
Moses on a Snail track list
1. The Weekly Crow
2. A Constant Strangle
3. Arrows and Balloons
4. Lie Like a Dog
5. Ice Cold War
6. Each Is Good in His Own House
7. How I’ve Been in Trouble
8. It’s News
9. It’s a Pleasure Being You
10. Big Time Wrestling
11. Teardrop Painballs
12. Moses on a Snail
Camera Found the Ray Gun track list
1. The Way Out
2. Rival GT
3. Pluto Is Polluted
4. Aquarian Hovercraft
