A Grand Design: Rush

RushTime Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland
Release date: November 8, 2011

Looks like another Hugh Symer. As someone living in Pittsburgh, I have an obligation to baselessly disparage anything from Cleveland, so I’m going to say I don’t like this album.

Worse yet, because of some outdated districting borders, Pittsburgh is classified as a secondary market even though the population supports a primary market. So when it comes to tour routing, my area gets passed up in favor of the home of The Drew Carey Show. I mean, Drew Carey? C’mon!

Well, even though their first U.S. tour started in Pittsburgh back in 1974, their first big break actually came when “Working Man” was picked up by a radio station in Cleveland. So Cleveland is probably more important to Rush than Pittsburgh.
