Kiss Each Other Clean is like when that nerdy guy in high school went from mowing lawns while drooling over awesome telescopes to shotgunning beers and wearing bolo ties. He ended up forsaking what made him unique to score some babes and accidentally popularize African mating dances — and it just didn’t work.
As much as you wanted him to succeed in the endeavor, you knew dude was just losing himself and listening to all the people around him. Yep, that’s the new Iron and Wine album in a nutshell.
