Morning Buzz: Arcade Fire, R. Stevie Moore, Lemuria
:: While playing in Haiti, Arcade Fire accidentally tried to take some biohazard buckets that contained medical waste and use them as drums. But hey, at least it wasn’t a crapper tank with a Biohazard band sticker on it. That’s right, Joe Dirt. I wanted to make a joke about stealing basketballs instead, but I think I’m finally over it. Maybe.
:: R. Stevie Moore needs your help to fund his first-ever world tour. A lesser musician wouldn’t be deserving — but we’re talking RSM here. Get at it!
:: Spotify is clamping down on how much music you can listen to. Freetards aren’t going to be happy about getting the clamp clamp ca-bamp.
:: Sheena Ozzella of Lemuria: “I want to be a grandma already. I want to drink tea and hang out in my rocking chair and hang out with cats all day.”
:: Oh boy, oh boy. New music from Jane’s Addiction. Be still my beating… alright, I’m over it.
:: Culture Bully gives a thorough, insightful look into how music bloggers interact with publicists and bands.
:: Lady Gaga talks Kegel exercises (sort of, but not really) and heroin (sort of, but not really).

Perry Farrell always fascinated me as a child. I always enjoyed Jane’s Addiction songs on the radio, and early in high school I got my hands on some Porno for Pyros. But I really got into Jane’s Addiction last year, so I’m excited about new material. And Perry is one of the most exciting frontmen ever. He has lots of snake-like moves, like Scott Weiland (who I get to see at the end of this month).
