New Releases: Stephen Malkmus, Stephin Merritt, CSS
Here’s another spate of weak releases. That said, records by two inimitable Steves help brighten up this week — Stephen Malkmus and Stephin Merritt, that is. Thankfully, no new Steve Martin bluegrass albums…yet.
I know I’m sleeping on a couple other albums this week, but I can’t help it. My eyes are peering anxiously toward next week, when the last Glen Campbell record hits shelves. And yes, I’m serious. So eat that.

I saw 400 Blows once. The drummer broke his snare or bass drum or something in the 3rd or 4th songs and none of the asshole local bands would let them borrow theirs, so they just ended their set. Doubt they ever come back to Little Rock again.

Also, please keep the New Releases going every week. It’s very helpful. Also, get rid of that weekly feed crap, I’m tired of it automatically starting every time I come to Buzzgrinder.
