Morning Buzz: The Band, Reggie Watts, Amon Amarth
:: I found this amazing blog last night thanks to Chunklet and instantly devoured the whole thing. A guy found a trunk full of seven-inch vinyl circa 1987-1993, then decided to write about and rip a record a day until he got through the entire collection. All of today’s random tracks that don’t suck have been culled from said trunk.
:: Rolling Stone has reprinted its 1968 story about the inception of The Band.
:: You pick up that new Reggie Watts vinyl yet?
:: Scott Hatch recently discussed the impetus behind creating Burnt Toast Vinyl and the course it’s taken over the last 15 years.
:: Don’t forget to send in your beard pictures for the Amon Amarth Viking beard contest over at MetalSucks.
:: The Newport Folk Festival has announced its lineup for 2011.
:: The Sub Pop scholarship is back.
:: Random tracks that don’t suck:

Thanks for the link. To clarify- I didn’t find that trunk- I bought everything in it, and just forgot about it for 15 years. Glad you found some stuff you like.
