Fans of the Juliana Theory should love this auction:
“This is a collection of original photos that I took of the Juliana Theory while they were on tour from 1997-2003. Remember the band when Jeremiah Momper and Neil Hebrenk were still in it? The photos go back to when they were practically babies and range all the way through the live recording at Club Laga. The original photos from the packaging of the live album are in this set and so are some others that you may have seen featured on their website over the years.”
The original Star Wars trilogy is finally being released to DVD despite the fact George Lucas seemed to want to forget the film in its original state. The discs will be available September 12th and go out of print December 31st so that means buy two and get rid of the other on eBay.
The MySpage page for the Arctic Monkeys (which wasn’t even put up by the band) is rumored to have sold for over $2000 on eBay. [link, Kottke]
Someone posted their impressive Starflyer 59 release collection on eBay. Several old, sealed vinyls including the elusive ‘Drop‘ 7″ that every fan seems to pine away for. The current price is $300 and it has a buy it now of $500. Yowza!
Frantic Mantis is selling their master Nanoloop cartridge for the Gameboy on eBay. The cartridge is a tool used by musicians to sequence sounds over a Gameboy and it comes complete with Mantis tracks for remixing and some from frontmant Shelby Cinca’s solo album. The winner of the auction could have a remix of the included songs appear on Frantic Mantis’s next vinyl release or Shelby’s solo record.
Sorry if it seems like we’ve been going xAUCTIONx on ‘yall (some of you might remember that website that I did for a little while), but here’s the left handed Gibson SG that was used by Dave (?) in The Promise Ring for a few years. [thanks, Nate]
Most impressive… an 8 foot replica of a Rebel Attack cruiser from Star Wars, 100 percent certified by Geroge Lucas, has been put up on eBay and the auction will go to raise money for post-Katrina efforts for Habitat For Humanity. Its up to 23,706.99 now, so act fast and make your kids or nerds happy this Christmas.
A guitar amp used on the legendary Frodus album “Conglomerate International” and Dechadron’s “2005″ album is up on eBay. Its a 1970 Earth Sound Tube Head, vintage to the max.
Jars of Clay are selling the Taylor 307 Big Baby Acoustic they had at the Live 8 show on eBay. I know, I know its Jars of Clay but the guitar has been signed by Dave Matthews Band, Sarah McLachlan, Chris Tucker, The Fugees, Kaiser Chiefs, Jars of Clay, Paula Abdul, Rita Marley, Josh Groban and Larry Magid and the proceeds will benfit the bands Blood:Water Mission charity. Plus, its a Taylor.
With Ebay’s rules I’m not quite for sure why this hasn’t been pulled down yet, but an Ebayer posted a “satirical” auction for Madden 2006 on Ebay expressing his disdain for the title and EA in general. Its pretty funny.
