A few that might get overlooked:
Mirah‘s new release is awesome. Portland’s repping pretty strong these days.
Bell Orchestre should be interesting. Includes a couple members of Arcade Fire, which automatically draws it some bonus attention. Time will tell if it’s deserved.
Balmorhea is some decent folksy instrumental stuff. I was supposed to review it but I forgot. Oopsieeee.
