Fader Magazine and Southern Comfort have teamed to create another super Limited Edition 7″ – the seventh in a series.  The vinyl includes two artists; one side features Hood Headlinaz – Tip Down, and the other They Jockin by Get ‘Em Mamis.

Nothing screams THIS IS INDIE ROCK like a fruity southern liqueur. Or at least that’s what Southern Comfort is banking on, since they’ve decided to give the SoCo Music Experience an edge by partnering with sites folks Pitchfork.tv, Heavy.com, My Damn Channel, Complex.com and Death + Taxes. Here’s a little bit of meaningless PR babble from a Southern Comfort exec:

The SoCo Music Experience is in its fourth year and we felt it was time to take a fresher approach as a spirits brand by extending the event to millions of music fans digitally but in a different way. We’re packaging the overall festival experience with interviews from both fans and performers and delivering the content in SoCo’s brand voice.

Sounds like a good time to me. Enjoying festival video from the perspective of a 120-year-old booze company is always on my to-do list.
